Parent Involvement

Involvement by parents and carers helps children to achieve the best possible learning outcomes. You can participate in school life, both formally and informally, through school council, parent clubs and volunteering in the classrooms and on sports days, etc.

Benefits for the child:

• Children see parents and community members helping the school and they realise that education is important to all of us.
• Children see adults working together effectively and interacting in friendly, positive ways.

• You have a chance to be actively involved in your child’s education.
• The satisfaction of taking an active role in supporting the school.
